DELLA LAMB EARLY EDUCATION PROGRAM
The Della Lamb Community Services (“Della Lamb”) early education program works to provide equitable access to high-quality early education to children of all backgrounds. The early education program focuses on the holistic development of each child, working to ensure that children and families are supported in a respective child's development journey. As part of the early education program, Della Lamb seeks to do the following: foster new understandings and approaches to social-emotional development through Conscious Discipline and trauma-informed care; empower partnership with local early ed advocates for training, consultation, and coaching; provide enhanced emphasis on literacy development for students from non-English-speaking households; implement Creative Curriculum in our classrooms; launch parent-centered programs to equip caregivers to understand and to respond to their child's developmental journey; and, to provide unique growth experiences for staff through professional development days and other training.
